Spicy Gochujang Honey Chicken Wings

Crispy chicken wings coated in a spicy and sweet gochujang honey glaze.

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup gochujang paste
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Toss chicken wings with vegetable oil and bake for 40 minutes, flipping halfway.
  3. Mix gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, and ginger in a bowl.
  4. Toss baked wings in the sauce until fully coated.
  5. Return to oven for 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

  • Adjust gochujang for more or less heat.
  • For crispier wings, broil for 2-3 minutes after saucing.
  • Serve with rice or a side salad.
