2 cans young green jackfruit in water or brine, drained and rinsed
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
Salt and pepper to taste

Coleslaw (optional, for topping)
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add diced onion and sauté until translucent.
Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add the drained jackfruit, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until jackfruit is tender.
Shred the jackfruit using two forks, mixing it with the onion and spices.
Add barbecue sauce and stir well. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.
Assemble sliders by placing the jackfruit mixture on slider buns and topping with coleslaw if desired.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add cayenne pepper to the jackfruit mixture.
