Shrimp Scampi with Pasta

A quick and flavorful shrimp scampi with pasta dish that’s perfect for weeknight dinners. Garlicky, buttery shrimp tossed with al dente pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
  5. Pour in white wine and lemon juice. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Toss in cooked pasta and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve immediately.
