Deliciously soft and chewy red velvet cookies that melt in your mouth, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a more intense red color, add more food coloring as desired.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
  • These cookies can be frozen for up to 3 months.
