  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, rolled oats, sunflower seeds, flaxseeds, salt, and instant yeast.
  2. Add honey and warm water to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased loaf pan.
  7. Let the dough rise again for 20 minutes.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool before slicing.

Notes

  • For a nuttier flavor, you can add chopped nuts to the dough.
