1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
2 cups ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
Add the broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender, about 10-12 minutes.
