  • 1 cup pecans, toasted
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Toast pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes. Set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a pot. Add onion and cook until soft.
  3. Add broth, cream, maple syrup, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Blend the mixture until smooth.
  5. Stir in toasted pecans before serving.
