  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, honey, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the cut sides of the acorn squash with the honey butter mixture.
  4. Place the squash halves cut side down on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until tender.
  6. Remove from the oven and brush with additional honey butter before serving.

Notes

  • For a caramelized finish, broil the squash for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
