Gourmet Hot Chocolate Bombs

Gourmet Hot Chocolate Bombs are a delightful treat that melt into a rich and creamy hot chocolate when added to warm milk.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of high-quality chocolate (dark or milk)
  • 1/2 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup of mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate chips (optional)
  • Silicone mold for shaping

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  2. Using a spoon, coat the inside of the silicone mold with melted chocolate.
  3. Chill the mold in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes until set.
  4. Remove the mold from the fridge and fill half of the chocolate shells with cocoa powder, sugar, and mini marshmallows.
  5. If desired, add chocolate chips on top of the marshmallows.
  6. Seal the bombs by adding more melted chocolate to the edges and pressing another half shell on top.
  7. Chill again until fully set.
  8. To serve, place a hot chocolate bomb in a mug and pour hot milk over it, stirring to combine.

  • Customize with different fillings like peppermint or caramel.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
