Deliciously gooey marshmallow puff bars that melt in your mouth, perfect for a sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of puffed rice cereal
  • 1 cup of mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the puffed rice cereal and mini marshmallows.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the peanut butter and honey over low heat until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the puffed rice and marshmallows, and mix until well combined.
  5. If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Press the mixture into a greased 8×8 inch baking dish.
  7. Let it cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • For a nut-free version, substitute peanut butter with sunflower seed butter.
  • Feel free to add nuts or dried fruits for extra texture.
