Easy Fried Rice

A simple and quick recipe for making delicious fried rice at home.

  • 2 cups cooked rice (preferably day-old)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add mixed vegetables and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  3. Push vegetables to one side of the skillet and pour beaten eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs until fully cooked.
  4. Add cooked rice to the skillet and stir to combine with vegetables and eggs.
  5. Pour soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice mixture. Stir well to evenly distribute the sauces.
  6. Add chopped green onions and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until everything is heated through.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

  • Use day-old rice for the best texture.
  • You can add cooked chicken, shrimp, or tofu for extra protein.
