  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 4 small tostada shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water according to package instructions. Simmer for a few minutes.
  3. On a large flour tortilla, layer the beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and a tostada shell.
  4. Fold the edges of the tortilla towards the center to create a wrap.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the wrapped tortilla seam-side down in the skillet.
  6. Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
  7. Remove from skillet and let cool slightly before slicing in half.
