1 block firm tofu, drained and pressed
1 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes.
In a bowl, mix cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Coat each tofu cube in the cornstarch mixture.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Fry the tofu cubes until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
Remove the tofu from the pan and drain on paper towels.
Drizzle sweet chili sauce over the crispy tofu bites.
