Ingredients

  • 8 oz bucatini pasta
  • 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to boil and cook bucatini according to package instructions.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced shiitake mushrooms and sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Drain pasta and add it to the cream sauce.
  7. Toss well to coat evenly.
  8. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and mix.
  9. Season with salt and pepper.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
