  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a food processor, blend the pitted dates until smooth.
  3. Add almond flour, cocoa powder, applesauce, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt to the dates and blend until well combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before cutting into squares.
